Games with similar setting...
I believe Slain's setting is my favourite in the whole videogame world. The combination of metal, horror and damn GOTHIC, with decadence and horrific monsters is awesome. I loved Valfaris too, but i'm more on the medieval style...

So, any other game with this kind of setting out there? I don't mind if they are metal-filled or not (i'm a metalhead, but i don't mind in videogames), but must be Gothic, evil and gruesome. For instance, avoid Bloodstained: i don't wanna see maids, i wanna a mighty barbarian/knight with fury in his heart.

Think of early Castlevania (NES and SNES ones), but way more evil!
Obviously i'm talking about 2D/retro-platformer games.
