Windows Phone Compatibility?
I personally use a HTC One M8 and the Web game pad controls are surprisingly good (Takes some getting used to though). Nice job on that.

But I recently tried to play with a friend of mine who owns a lumia running Windows phone 10 and it was almost impossible to play. For example, the default layout with the swipe controls was severely limited by the fact the phone would only let you swipe horizontally or vertically and not both. So in order to accelerate he had to tap above the swipe controls and move left or right. Which may have been fine but the controls would stop after about 5 seconds of holding your finger on them at which point you'd have you tap on the steering controls again to get it to work. I suggested he try the tablet layout as the button steering might work better but when you go to change the layout the visual elements begin flickering and swiping to change the layout is impossible.

I'm putting this down as the actual phone browser/OS at fault here, but is there no chance for a specific windows phone tailored game pad in the future?

Hey, thanks for the report it helps a ton.

It sounds like an incompatibility with the default browser on Windows Phone.
Does the virtual joystick Go/Left/Right buttons appear, or does it stay on menu/navigation mode?

Could you try an alternative browser? Perhaps these:
UC Browser - http://www.ucweb.com/ucbrowser/download/wp.html
Maxthon Browser - https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/apps/maxthon-browser/9wzdncrfj17t
Opera Mini - http://www.opera.com/mobile/mini/windows

I don't have access to a Windows Phone (yet), but will try and get an emulator working. Hopefully I can then see and fix the issue!

The controls do appear properly when using them and the menu does too, but you cannot change layout and when you try to you can see all the layouts flickering between each other (I'm assuming WP10's default browser doesn't play nice with z levels or something).

Next time I get my hands on the phone I'll install one of those browsers and see if it helps.

Managed to try out those browsers.

UC Browser suffers from the same control problems as the built in Internet Explorer, can't swipe in all directions to control the cars. The layout problem is a bit different but I still cannot get it to change the layouts. Instead of flickering only half of the controls show up at the bottom and the web page extends far beyond the gamepad itself.

The exact same occurs with Maxthon as it does with UC, albeit with a smaller gamepad size due to the browser bar on the screen.

Opera times out when trying to load the page.

I get this too, in a Lumia 950 XL with Windows 10 Mobile.
On top of the unuseability described above, I tend to get a tooltip for selecting text when I hold too long on the controller. And sometimes I don't get the character's picture.
It would be nice if you fixed this.
