What is each orb's "element"?
I know some are obvious, like iron is blunt and blade is sharp. But what is wind for instance? Are any orbs multiple? Like maybe empire is dark and aura? Just trying to figure out how each orb corresponds to the bestiary strengths/weaknesses list.

From my limited experimentation, I'm fairly certaint that Blue and Shattered are blunt, Umbra and Blood are dark.

Blue is definitely blunt; its description even says it's bashing people.

Thanks! I was doing some testing and starting to figure these out but it's nice to have some confirmation.

What about the ring and necklace powers? I imagine most match up, but I'm sure the Forbidden Tome's spell is fire. Are there others that differ?

I can confirm through testing that Blue Orb's Aura Blast spell is Aura based damage. (Makes sense considering the name at least)

Like you suspect, Forbidden Tome's Djinn Inferno is Fire based.

Neat one is Gun Orb's Arm Cannon is Light based.

Have not tested the rings, but would say the Blade/Fire/Ice damage bonuses are their respective elements.

I know it's an old thread, but how you're supposed to know the orb's attack element? In Castlevania you could check the weapon's attribute in the "guides" tab, but I couldn't find anything here.

There's no easy way in-game, and this is an objective flaw, IMO. Need to refer to the Wiki (or post above) and remember them:
