black vines? (spoilers)

how do you get rid of those black vines by the starting area of lachiem present? i've already gotten one ending which was the one where you kill nightmare and become the eternal mother which also means i've also killed that one boss at the bottom of the sealed caves that i initially thought was related to those black vines so i've been stumped.

in terms of map completion i'll have to scour the map for secret rooms as i'm at 97% completion and the only area i havent visited at all is that area blocked off by vines, so if anyone could help i'd appreciate it

I think since I did new game plus I wasn''t able to burn those vines. Not that I need it to complete the game, I got the achivement the first time.

Silly me thinking that this wouldn't work as vines would surely take less than 1000 years to grow back and then block my path again.
