How to Move Abilities / Item Icons on the Shortcut Bar

I have been trying just about everything to move the icons around on the shortcut bar but it doesn't seem to be possible. I kind of have ADD when it comes to orginizing things so it would be nice to be able to move my icons around, please let me know if this is possible??

The trick is the little button to the left of the bar.

Click that and the bar goes into edit mode.

Double click slots to remove.
Double click items to add to hotbar (next available slot)
Click a slot, click an item then click the same slot again to place an item in a specific slot.
