Film/book references

I've thoroughly enjoyed the premise, the mechanics and the (in)conclusion of Her Story. I generally love fragmentary stories – this game is in good company with films like Alain Resnais' 'Je t'aime, je t'aime', Christopher Nolan's 'Memento' and Michel Gondry's 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'.

I was wondering if people have noticed any particular nods or references the author may have included to films, books or comics. For example, it might be entirely coincidental, but there is also a fateful trip to Glasgow in Resnais' Je t'aime, je t'aime, with a similar 'you don't quite know what happened' turn.

I'd love to hear other people's findings.
