Question about Chat

How exactly do you get the Chit Chat? I've finished the game with all videos, but choose to reply "no" to SB and now I wonder what happens when you say "yes".

Yes is pretty much no different. When you say no he says something like it's ok you can come back later meet me outside (Not an exact quote). When you say yes he says something along the lines of ok good come meet me outside.

You can still say yes.. Click the chat again, then click the avatar to contact him again, and he will ask the same question.

@Sméagol I'd assume it's the same for daisukereds as it was for me: once I'd said no, then logged back in to continue, the other ChitChat user was offline and so I couldn't talk to them again.

You can always come back, even after "walking away", in fact it's encouraged, as ending the game will give you two special commands you can use when you return.
I wasted a lot of time trying to find every video - it's much easier to get most of it, chat that you're done and then return with the codes.

Yes, it went offline as soon as I answered "no", so I wasn't given the chance to read the other response.

And I agree.. the question is, what prompts the chat window exactly? I already have all the videos unlocked.

Just like the guitar clips, it doesn't really matter in the game. Just to make you relax. Only provide one clue that who sat in front of the computer is sarah

I'm not sure what the trigger is, because I'm pretty sure I had fewer than half the videos when it came up, but I guess just keep playing and don't worry about it too much.

It worked for me. I did a second playthrough of it and watched all the videos chronologically. I never got the program to pop up until I searched "chat"

If i remember correctly, if you answer no, he'll reply "ok" and nothing more... but if you answer "yes", his next reply will contain your name and some explicit hints about who you are and why are you doing this research.

For me, the Chat popup was prompted when I found the video in which Eve explains that Hannah sliced through Simon's throat with a piece of the mirror he gave her while dressed up as Eve, when he'd given her the exact same one as Hannah. Basically it was the video which actually explained how the murder happened that unlocked Chit Chat for me, though it could be that you had to find some of the videos about the twins to bring the story together overall. After saying yes and watching the credits, the Chit Chat icon disappeared.

Just some two cents:

For us, the Chit Chat popped up after we watched the video in which Eve explains how they cut up the body, put it in bags and how they wanted the body to be found and talked about having an alibi

For me the chit chat appeared when searching about rapunzel . A few less than 50% of the videos discovered so far.
