Game won’t start for me

Hey guys. Bought this game a while back excited as hell to play it. However, after the quick download, I found that it doesn’t work for some reason. Here’s what happens: the window opens but it’s like invisible or something because all I see is the desktop or whatever windows I have in the background. I’ve also tried it without any background apps running with no luck. When I return to the desktop, I see the window running and the music is playing but I can’t get into the window/the window does not load and is only able to play in the background. I don’t have any extra monitors or anything so idk what’s happening. I’ve tried contacting the game dev support but they haven’t responded to me yet. I’d really like to play this game. I’ve tried both windowed and fullscreen mode with no real difference other than that fullscreen mode I have to force it to close. No one else seems to be having this problem, but any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. Please let me know if you find a fix.

Same here on Windows 10. It worked better on Debian with Steam Play which at least lets me get into the game, but the videos won't play so it's still useless.

The problem went away after I changed computers. Still have no clue what the issue was, but several games (indies especially) had this issue.

All the support forums I visited/contacted recommended updating drivers. That never fixed the issue for me. The only thing that allowed the game to run was when I finally changed computers. Several games had the issue on my old PC so it definitely wasn't exclusively a problem for this game.
