It's a fun enough time sure. But it leaves A LOT to be desired and it's a little convoluted at times
Sure, but negative interest can still be genuine. The criticism in the OP is that the FMV looks ♥♥♥♥. Surely, if that's a legitimate concern, the fact that it's supposed to be archival footage from the 90's is relevant to that, and would be the thing to respond to? Maybe you still don't like the look of it, but it makes perfect sense that it would look like that.
Really I think if I wanted a FMV game I'd devle into some early 90s stuff, I think I still have some old PC FMV games on CDs.
I didn't at any point criticize the quality of the FMV of this game. I simply expressed my surprise that RPS would rate this as "BEST EVER MADE". I then realized that I've misinterpreted their remark, and apologized.
Edit: Nevermind. He/She understands now.
Nah...nobody is really talking at you anymore. :)
It's mosly the other people just saying ♥♥♥♥ to get a rise out of people when they never even will think of buying this game no matter what they say. xD
I too would love to believe that I'm not stupid : ) Nor was I trolling.
I simply misread and thought RPS branded this game to have the best FMV (sequence, or cut scene) in video games. I have in fact seen better quality FMVs in Red Alert 2, despite them being extremely cheesy as someone mentioned.
Yeah, those people are known as trolls. I apologize if I acted like one.
The gameplay mechanic is simple but kinda clever, basically you watch interview videos, and try to figure out the correct keywords/clues (that you type manually) to search for in a police database. So no there are no pre-set options to choose from.
