I think the question on "Her Story" is do you conduct any real action or are you just watching a movie and then selecting some option for an ending?
Really I think if I wanted a FMV game I'd devle into some early 90s stuff, I think I still have some old PC FMV games on CDs.

This game will be fine. Everyone playing it is saying positive things about it so far and everyone I talked to that has played it iss as well. This isn't a battle most of these trolls are going to win. They wouldn't buy a game like this no matter what you told them so not much you can say that is going to convince them to stop their nonsense. If it were true desire to ask most of these questions they wouldn't be snarky about it. Taht's how you know they aren't interested. ;)

I too would love to believe that I'm not stupid : ) Nor was I trolling.

I simply misread and thought RPS branded this game to have the best FMV (sequence, or cut scene) in video games. I have in fact seen better quality FMVs in Red Alert 2, despite them being extremely cheesy as someone mentioned.

The gameplay mechanic is simple but kinda clever, basically you watch interview videos, and try to figure out the correct keywords/clues (that you type manually) to search for in a police database. So no there are no pre-set options to choose from.

Who knows, he may just be confusing "FMV game" and "game with FMV." I mean, Dark Forces 2 have some FMV, but it would be classified as a shooter. 7th Guest/11 Hour would probably be classified as both FMV and puzzle game, I'm not entirely certain as to what level Phantasmagoria is on FMV/puzzle/hidden object but I know it had lots of FMV. If I recall right most FMV games existed in the 90s era on PC or SegaCD/Saturn, I can't really recall if the PSX had any at all. It's not exactly a big genre, and some of them only have as much gameplay as the first 30 minutes of Metal Gear Solid 2, so it's not exactly the most interactive or popular genre.
