This 'game' is just a movie, not a video game. Your not really playing, your just watching and editing videos for a case which the women are involved in. I whole heartedly cannot call this a "Video game" nor a "game" due to this. So, no. We don't need to "play" it when all you really need to do is watch a playthrough of it to get the same experiance.

what is wrong with people?? this game was good, there's no reason to come in here and trash on it. It reminded me of old Infocom games and when you actually had to keep REAL notes and track of the plot and details. About half the work of the game is in paying attention, the other half is figuring out keywords cleverly.

It is not the game that won the award it was Viva Seifert,who voiced the main character .She did a great job impersonating 3 persons in the game .She did earned that award.

The game won Best Narrative (which in my opinion it shouldn't have) but It did. Viva won best Performance. (She shouldn't of.)

It shouldn't even have won best performance in my opinion. I watched several walkthroughs of the game and read alot of reviews. Maybe it's my personal preference, but i just see too little of a game here to call it "groundbreaking" and deserving of both awards.

Mark Hamill has done the Joker voice for 20 years? His voice is symbolic for a charakter for so long. This is deserving of an award. Even the voice actress for Rise of the Tomb Raider did a fantastic job. In this case i think it's just more quality content that the other games offered in the voice actor department that "Her Story" doesn't have.

It felt more of a "Oh look, Indygame. We need to get some awards out, before we get accused of not valueing Indy games". But oh well. That's one of the flaws the whole show had. It felt unmotivated and fake in alot of the speeches, so this "game" getting two awards is almost minor to the other crap that happened. The ONLY good thing during that evening was Reggie's Speech about Satoru Iwata.
