Inside the rubbish bin we have the Mirror Game and a text file telling us that game was cracked. In other words, we have a "cracked Mirror". Isn't it a reference to the item used to kill Simon (a mirror shard)? Also, the fact that these items were in the rubbish bin may be a reference to the bin bag his body was put into.
