Chit Chat! Necessary?

When I noticed the Chit Chat! thing in entered it twice and replied no. Now when I open it I can't type anything. Not that I'd know what else to type anyway, but is this necessary for something? If so do I need to reset the game to get it to function again?

It's supposed to be this way. I believe it's to limited for the sake of immersion and to represent who you are playing as and not yourself

Yes. I clicked it do long ago I don't even remember there was a call button.

I keep getting weird chit chat messages that make no sense and then the sender tells me to log off and to meet them on the road. Like I know what that means.....🤣🤣🤣🥳

Did you just start because I think I remember it not showing up until the first time I left and came back.

The chit-chat buttons takes a while to pop up. If you say "no" to keep researching, you can start another chat by clicking the "CALL" button in the Chit-Chat window and they'll ask you again if you're done. When you're ready, you can say yes that you're done and finish the story. This is, I believe, the only way to officially "finish" the game and get end credits (which opens up a couple more achievements). I hope this helps, the original post was a while ago!
