Well that sucks.
This is basically a text based adventure game that requires paying attention to details. Jot down any new revelations and you will find that the story itself is really deep.
Don't look at the game as a game and more of a mystery that you're trying to unravel bit by bit.
So there is an ending?
When the Chit Chat comes just answer "yes" and you see the credits. That's the closest thing to an ending.
The *goal* is to understand what happened. The "game" is the arbitrary search result limits forcing you to interact with the database in a contrived way in order to search for the pieces. It's a pretty thin game, but it's about as much as a game as a district attorney searching for/listening to 911 calls to build a crimial case using incredibly poorly designed software.
