Anyway, the game has a "very positive" rating because of the way steam reviews work. More than 75-80% of people gave a positive review, so that's the rating it gets.
I know that's not the kind of answer you're looking for, but it's the most realistic answer you're going to get. In future I suggest reading the actual content of the reviews rather than buying a game just based on the number of people who've clicked the thumbs up button.
I tried to explain it.
I understand how the rating system works and I bought the game when it was first released. My issue is that I can't understand why the game have such high reviews. I'm trying to understand what people see in this game. What am I missing?
I mean I love games like "this war of mine" and "papers please". They are simple in concept but nontheless deep and fun.
Don't get me wrong, I can understand where some of the entertainment lies. It's not an awful game. But for the current asking price and how the game feels, I do not understand how so many like it.
Is that it? Because I freaking love the 50s era nuclear treat and post-apocalyptic themes. But I do not feel that this game does the best with it.
And you didn't try to explain it, you told me to "get out"
Also, I meant I tried to explain it in that message.
The game isn't amazing by any stretch of the imagination but it's good enough that most people who bought it are happy with what they got.
its 5.49CAD, that's a cheap price for a decent game. it's practically a steal, there are good reviews because it's actually a good game. sure there are more things that could be added i guess.
its not to expensive.
Only major problem is, it has loads of bugs, and it has been like that for a while.
I been gaming since my 12 thats almost 40 years now, so i have seen and played many many games, i know what i am talking about.
I have bought hundreds of retail games and i have bought a 1000 digital games all drm free ofcourse :D because most of the times the protection messes up the game, i seen many games here from many devs i have lots of the games drm free and the funny thing is: they dont have bugs and i was able to finish these games without any developer patches needed.
The point is i have also beta tested some realarcade games for 2 years, real arcade
was merged / taken over by another company lateron so the testing changed and i stopped testing for them.
In those 2 years of daily beta testing the games i have never met games that had so many bugs like this game 60 seconds has. So i can understand that some users are upset by all those bugs.
So the only one problem this game has : is its bugs, there are way to many of these, 75% should have been discoverd and removed / fixed during its beta fase, and not when users have bought this.
Thats the one and only bad thing about this game, i have no other remarks about it cause the game idea is brilliant.
I hope they create more games like these but please, remove all major bugs before releasing it commercially and ask cash for it.
regards
