Game breaking bug?
So I encountered something..interesting.

So what happened was, It was just Ted and Dolores left, dolores was out scavenging but on the day it was mentioned "she has been out too long" Our shelter was invaded by bandits, I had no weapons so I was just assuming it was a lost game, but instead they captured ted as a hostage, but there was no one left in the shelter and dolores was gone.
The game kept playing as if someone was still around, events still happened and I could still use items. It was cut short however due to another bandit raid and I got a game over.

Has this happened to anyone else? Hope the devs can patch this out, if the bandits didn't arrive, probably coulda abused the system as I didn't need to use any of my food or water at all, the bug lasted about 9 days.

We are aware of this bug, thank you for reporting it. It was mentioned in the pinned BUGS/ISSUES thread (please report bugs to that thread directly in the future for the sake of clarity, thanks). This issue should have been fixed with today's patch, have you updated your game recently?

I'd like to ask though, when a bandit attack happens, is your weapon always meant to break now? Because every single time a bandit raid happens my weapon gets consumed in the process.

No problem, but we would appreciate any future bug reports to be posted in the topic you've mentioned. Makes it easier for us to track and respond to them!

And to answer your question - indeed, the weapons break after a single use now, with one exception.

Generally the balancing we did as a part of DLC work was focused on making the beginning of the game a bit easier, but at the cost of making the end game much more challenging from a certain point.
