Deceased Cyborg Ted

So I was randomly playing 60 Seconds recently after a lengthy hiatus and Ted ended up dying from sickness since I had no health kit. Eventually, I lost when Timmy scavenged and never returned and Dolores was taken by bandits (MJ never made it to the bunker). After I got the "The End" screen, the bunker came back up and Ted's skeleton became a blue cyborg! Can anyone explain how and/or why this happened? It scared the hell outta me when I saw it, but now I'm more intrigued than anything else.

The weirdest part is that it's not in artwork, it's an actual in-game screenshot!
