How do you win this game?

I know the only real ending to this game is to have the military save you, but how long does this take? I made it all the way to day 75 on normal mode, only to have the bandits slowly pick off everyone in my little shelter. Is there something I'm missing? How long does it take to win this game on normal mode?

Good question, I thought it'd be 60 days but the game keeps going. It might tied to radio / military objectives rather than just days.

Alright I finally won, you need to do all the military stuff, and the final objective involves letting them into your bunker when they knock on the door. It's an anonymous knock though I waited a month before letting them in because I was afraid they were bandits.

What is all the military stuff? Is it literally just doing the map and radio missions?

The radio missions that come from the military. Like giving up your rifle, cutting down the trees, signalling the airplane etc. If you do them quickly it's actually pretty easy to win the game. Just need to make sure you have the items you need to do the missions when they come up, as well as a working radio.

Well lol. I actually thought that it was just some propaganda crap from the government, so they can make the survivors do tons of chores and in time benefit from it somehow or perhaps that it's just some automated message and no one comes to help us period, so it's best be ignored as probably the majority of humanity is destroyed anyway.

No wonder I perished 99,9% of my attempts. I do recall winning once out of complete f#cking accident tho, I don't even remember what I did, I just randomly won with a semi-skeletonized family from one day to the next. xD
