Join Blade's book club (really)

OK, I was not sold on the writing in the Abbey portion of Midnight Suns -- somebody at Firaxis loves their corn. But as the game progresses and the interpersonal conflicts got rolling, it became my favorite part of the game. Case in point: when Blade asks you to join his book club don't hesitate -- Blade and Captain America are surprisingly hilarious. Loving this game.

It's a good bit of writing. Thinking about how characters would react to different literature isn't easy.

While the games fun the soapy aspect gets old fast at least for me.. every time my character wakes i wonder what bold and beautiful episode i'm going to be forced to watch this time..

Hahah. Oh, yeah. Captain America has many talents, but obviously being able to read the room isn't one of them. When it's not related to "business", at least.

Blade and Hunter have a fun dynamic between them. I initially thought Blade was one-note, but over time he (and many of the other characters) have shown multiple levels to their personalities. Although Cap spews a bunch of odd and uncomfortable dialog about the good old days, overall I'm enjoying the hero interactions in the Abbey a lot more than I expected to.
