HELP - Can't advance in the story

So i'm at the mission with the gamma accelerator.

Problem is i need to have 8 research and i only have 6.

I know you get artifacts to get higher research from side missions but the mirror table is only showing me the story missions - it's NOT displaying any side missions.

How am i supposed to advance in the story if the game doesn't give me side missions to make advance my research level ??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So to be clear you have checked ALL objectives off except for "Research Level 8" and your Mirror Table has absolutely no other missions anywhere at all?

And just to be clear, it isn't night time right, you can't go sleep in your bed?

I don't have any objectives left.

Only need research level 8 but i have no side missions on the mirror table.

I even tried reloading a previous side mission i was kinda almost loosing and managed to get past by but still nothing.

Also no, it's not night time.

If I remember right, you need to look for artifact missions at the mirror table, researching those should increase your level.

If you're not seeing those missions, make sure you're looking in every map region you've unlocked. Or worst case go to bed and check again the next day.

That's the problem - there are no side missions at the mirror table and i can't even sleep to progress further in the story.

Does the map have like different areas or zoom ?

It doesn't really show me other areas and i'm not sure if i can zoom in on the map.

When I ran into that issue in my playthroughs, I found that there was some event somewhere in the main building, courtyard, or hot springs that I needed to trigger, before the side missions showed up.

Though unfortunately I couldn't not tell you what that trigger was as I simply don't remember.

Dustin i think i solved it - i didn't knew pressing D would show me the rest of the mirror table. LOL

But i'm kind of confused - to advance research i need artifacts right ?

NONE of the side missions that i have displayed give artifacts, the only give gamma coils.

If i remember right :

- gamma coils give more cards
- artifacts give more research points

Correct ?

Research points are given when you complete a research.

Artifacts gives an artifact + essences. And maybe it gives a blueprint also, but I'm not sure

This is incorrect.

Research level goes up, every time you "study" an artifact (which also grants essences+artifact item).
If you don't have any side missions that offer artifact rewards, you will have to pick a different side mission and complete it out (as well as night time) then the next day check the list again.

Damn that is so annoying.

Was it too hard to just make it a bit less grindier... i mean i love the game overall but some of the missions even on normal difficulty are stupidly hard.

I tried one on hard difficulty that had an artifact reward and was insanely hard though.

I spent nearly 50h thinking research lvl was upgraded by completing researches... My 9 lvls in research has been completed purely by chance then lmao

By the way, Tab over from Southwest to NYC to find tons of artifact missions, I was in the same boat and just found this out.
