First time launching, crashes every time after the logos screen
Good afternoon gents,

As per the title, my game is crashing every single time I try to boot it.

I've tried using custom commands to launch it (bypass 2k launcher, use directx 11), everything in my computer is up to date when it comes to the graphics card and windows, and while it's not the beefiest boy around, it's more than enough to run the game, I got an i5 7600K and an RX 480. Also ran the file integrity check, even disabled the DLCs except the Dr. Strange skin one, since I read somewhere that DLCs could also cause this.

I'm fresh out of ideas of what to do to get the game running, since it launches, gets past the first loading screen with the magic Dr. Strange wheel thing, gets to the logos screen, and then my cooler cranks up to eleven, my two screens shut down, and I have to hard reset.

After booting, it all goes back to normal. Can't really check temps or anything since the screens just stop working and I'm not able to do anything at all.

Any ideas?

ctl+_atl+del bring up task manager and turn any program that's running. Main stuff not system of course. Or do a clean boot after disabling things from your start-up, that includes virus scanner. At least then you can see if perhaps there is a conflict going on. Sometimes hanging on load is because of that, but also drivers can be an issue.

try reinstalling your graphics drivers. Sometimes another update can mess things up.

Give those two a shot. (maybe do the graphics reinstall first) https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/graphics/radeon-600-500-400/radeon-rx-400-series/radeon-rx-480.html

You could also try disabling one of your screens. I don't run dual screens but i know they can be an issue. Sometimes you need to set up graphics with just one, then add the other after settings are config'd correctly.

Also try reinstalling the redistributables in
steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist

I think I've seen others reporting errors associated with Visual C++ 2015 but it maybe worthwhile going through all the redistributables (at least the. Net and VC++ ones) and re-running them

Well, not quite sure what made the game sort itself out, but it's now working.´

Installed the latest AMD drivers, went through the redistributables, plugged out one of the screens, and then launched the game. It worked, so I plugged the other screen again, had to reset because I'm stupid and my main screen wouldn't turn back on again, then ran the game again.

All is fine so far. :) Thanks for the help!
