I'd rather see additional costumes, colour swatches and abilities for existing characters, new villain enemies too.
Especially the DLC costumes could use more swatches.
But every character getting a new ability could already mix things up quite a bit.
New villains working for Lilith would add more variety as well.
And maybe some decent casual outfits added for all characters too, most look horrible. Why does Hunter not get a single casual outfit from their time period? Would be neat if they could have some casual wear from around 1700.
I believe they could increase the success of the game if they extend in the future to x-men, which more people could relate to, expand current roster/adversaries to include the likes of cyclops, beast, gambit, rogue, etc with professor x mentoring against adversaries such as magneto, toad, juggernaut, sentinels, etc.
Would fit existing mould well & provide opportunities to expand story in interesting directions. Could include dynamics where certain characters have the upper hand, so magneto vs wolverine, toad vs cyclops, etc. further expanding strategic layers within combat.
Based on comments from the community maybe scale back some of the social interaction elements utilised around the Abbey while maintaining the high quality cut scenes typically before combat commences.
Call me delusional but here's hoping this/similar materialises in the future.
I mean, if you have as the game villains to fight against Apocalypse, Mr Sinister, Mystique, Sabretooth, the Juggernaut and Sentinels as strong boss type enemies, that would be a lot.
And if the playable heroes include the main cast of the 90's cartoon with Professor X taking the narrative role of caretaker, alongside Nightcrawler, Collosus and other fan favourites, like maybe Magik returning, that would have plenty of selling points.
Heck especially Gambit would be a feast to see in a card based combat game. I could see him manipulating card play in far crazier ways than Dr Strange.
am soo glad season pass is finally on sale. woot
It really is. I played it on PS5 and normally don’t platinum games but…I had so much fun I went and got all the trophies.
Normally I would stop playing, but I’m still playing it but bumped the difficulty up.
I got an ROG Ally and tempted to buy it on Steam to have it portable too.
Honestly didn’t realise how much fun this game was
And I really dislike how we never seem to really get an X-men game any more. If we ever see any, it's just a few stuffed into a game with many other super heroes. Or even against Capcom in a fighting game.
So then you always just have the usual suspects. Heck it's a miracle we even get Magik here instead of nightcrawler or cyclops, and it's likely due to her specific power with portals being crucial to the story.
