I love this game, anything else like it?
I haven't been this hooked to a game in a while, I asked some friends if they knew anything else that was similar but got XCOM2 as a reply. That is a great game but I don't find it to be like Marvel Suns. If you know any game that comes close to this I'd love to know. I'll be play NewGame+ until then.

You would need to be more specific as to what you enjoyed about it. Midnight Suns seem to copy a lot from Persona games, and jRPGs in general. Combat is a bit different but the structure has a lot of similarities. Persona5 is brilliant and available on PC.

If combat interests you, than card/tactics take is pretty rare to come by. Slay the Spire is apparently a really good game with card mechanics, but I didn't play is, so can't comment. Klei's Griftlands was quite interesting as well.

If you enjoyed running around and talking to people, than any RPG should do.

I enjoyed the card combat system, coupled with the small things like customisation of the Abby and the exploration of The Haven. Thank's I'll take a look in to Slay the Spire.

If anything I hope they take this system and create a whole new game.

If you want to enjoy just purely the battle aspect, this game borrows heavily from: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1265820/Fights_in_Tight_Spaces/

If you like the social aspect, Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The series itself is a turn based tactical game, different than XCOM but worth a try if you already own the Switch. I found it more enjoyable than the Mario rip-off of XCOM 'Mario + Rabbids'

Awesome thanks, bonus that it's packed in this months Humble Bundle.

Fights in Tight Spaces is certainly the closest to Midnight Suns when it comes to the battle system, but another good, much lesser known Roguelike deck builder that’s similar is Nitro Kid.

imo this game gets his inspiration a lot by games like persona and fire emblem, along with xcom, and the idea of being an RPG that uses cards is not new, I remember the first game that did it was a JRPG from the Snes era (the DBZ one where the last boss is freezer). You can emulate it, there's even translations by fans. There's also a indie game that does the formula, called Neoverse. When it comes to western games though, tactical RPGs are only strong in the following list in my opinion:

Xcom series, Baldur's Gate 3, Divinity Original Sin 2, Pathfinder WOTR, Pillars of eternity 2. All of them are absolute gems to me, and if you liked the tactical aspect, you wont be dissapointed, especially if you like a well written story (the worst story might be xcom, but its not bad either... just that its a tactical game mostly). Xcom doesnt have any of the social aspects, but the others do. Especially PF WOTR and BG3 (early access, you can only play ch1 until august 31 tho, so if you dont like prebuying, just wait a bit).

Disclaimer: I left out older ones like fallout 2, KOTOR, etc, theres a lot of older gems. Mostly cause they are known, and not very modern.

I absolutely fell in love with Midnight Suns as well as Xcom1 and Xcom2.
If you like those 3 games such as I do, maybe try Persona5 and Othercide. I feel Othercide is VERY very very underrated.

Great Game. Firaxis games always have this addictive game play loop that keeps you going far past whats appropriate for humans. Just one more turn babe! I like how this revisits classic mechanics with a fresh perspective. A blend of Xcom2, JPRG team sim, Cards, and Marvel c/should have been a complete mess but this one landed.

As for suggestion in a similar but completely different way. Perhaps Wyldermyth and/or indy game BlackBook. These are story narrative rpg quest type games, but with card mechanics for battle. Wyldermyth also has a fortress defense strategy layer.

I haven´t played the game, so I can´t be sure, but from what I saw on youtube, my suggestion is that:

I believe you would love any pool games. Pool 3D easily comes to mind. Just put the X-Men cartoon on the background while you play it. I just don´t know how you emulate lenuvo.
