Venom legendary challenge broken?

I'm trying to do the challenge for venom to unlock his legendary card, but it's impossible. At first I thought I was too stupid to figure it out, but when looking up a guide I noticed that the enemies in my mission have more hp then they should have, specifically between 3 and 4. Is this due to venom having prestige levels? Or is that just a bug?
Any way to solve or cheese this challenge?

You are just doing it wrong.

when I say I looked at guides to check, I've looked at guides to check. the leftmost enemy that you're supposed to kill first with Lethal Embrace (37 dmg) has 38 hp, even though the enemy SHOULD have 35..... I'm not "just doing it wrong" acording to guides....

Yeah, the guides online are wrong but I was able to do it by adjusting slightly. The fundamental bit is to get those cards off the two soulless ASAP and deal with the rest. I don't remember exactly how, though.

The guides are wrong. My notes on how I did it are:
1. Lethal Embrace enemy on left
2. Insatiable Hunger
3. Web Toss enemy with card onto green thing
4. Spike Burst right 3 enemies
5. Tendril Strike right 2 enemies
6. Tendril Strike front enemy x2
7. Tasty Brains front enemy
8. Assimilation
9. Tasty Brains
10. Tasty Embrace
I think that's right and hope it helps.

Same Problem, enemy has 38 hp, my Lethal Embrace make only 37. So it is not dead, and i can not use Insatiable Hunger.

that is pretty much what the guides say, and is not possible for me, as lethal embrace does not kill the enemy to let me play insatiable hunger. thats the crux of the problem

thanks. managed to fiddle with the order slightly and managed to beat it, even though the hp are higher:

lethal embrace on the left one
toss the one beside him into the rift
tendril strike the 2 enemies with the cards, now you should have insatiable hunger.
after insatiable hunger, spikeburst the 3 weakened enemies and finish the 2 that stay standing with tendril strike. use your last card to kill the last dude to gain the legendary

not work for me. After your spikeburst, all 3 enemy stand with 1 and 2x 4hp and the full hp enemy near wall.

hmmm. the 2x 4hp minions should be finished with a tendril strike, but the 1hp minion should be dead at that point.
make sure to give the second one to the left vulnerable by shoving him into the explosion as the first thing they take dmg from. then tendril strike that one and the other minion with a card, which should die at that point. the spike burst SHOULD kill them then, only leaving 2 minions at 4 hp each

Nope, nothing, one will not die and survive with 4 or 6 hp, depending on the order. I have do all of your guide, nothing.

It is amazing that you post that reply after the OP actually posted the solution they found, which also explains why previous solutions didn't work.

Oh my god! How cute. The first solution was for before the Morbius patch. And the new video (it's also 2.0) is for explicitly after the patch. I searched for an hour for a solution, always an opponent with 1, 4 or 6 HP remained. And that was frustrating. And it must not matter to some people whether you find out yourself or whether you prefer to watch a video. So shut up!
