Brain Buffet unwinnable

I use lethal embrace on the Memory that has the Insatiable Hunger card and it leaves them at 1 hp and I don't have enough cards to finish the encounter is this bugged or is it something I can grind up in level to help with?

For challenge like that, level up doesn't help. They're puzzle. You probably just need to do things differently to win it.

Well i tried following guides and videos and they one shot the same guy I'm attacking with lethal embrace but now its just leaving him with 1 hp instead of killing him so i don't know what else I can try playing in any other order makes the cards too weak from his hunger being too low.

Manage to win with this method
- Hit 2 rightmost enemies with "Tendril strike"
- Hit the highest HP enemy with "Lethal Embrace"
- Throw the leftmost enemy with "Web Toss" to Green energy
- Hit 4 enemies with "Spike Burst"
- Finished lowest HP enemy with "Tendril Strike"
- "Insatiable Hunger"
- Hit the last enemy with "Tasty Brain"
- etc.
