The only one I didn't completely like was Deadpool, as I expected the actor to sound like Ryan Reynolds. Probably unfair, but it was slightly jarring how different he was.
The Deadpool content could be hilarious at times though.
For Deadpool, they actually got the voice actor(Nolan North) who is famous for having done Deadpool the most, across 12 animation & video game titles. Ryan Reynolds has had a shorter career as Deadpool than him.
Without the voice acting in this game, it would almost be an empty shell. Great writing and gameplay does matter, but the immersion and staying power is built in the ear candy.
I didnt like Magiks voice acting because her Russian accent sounds fake and the few Russian words she said sounded fake too, they could have found some Russian-speaking actress for her.
I do love it now though, it's definitely warmed up on me.
And "Is Portal." is the best line in the game. :D
But I agree if the actor's not Russian (or Russian-speaking) then that's not great, and probably played a part in why it took me a little longer to gel with the performance than it did the others.
As for Tony, I adore him!
His performance combined with the writing is my favourite Tony for sure.
Sorry RDJ! I liked you too! But this one feels more like a person who lives in this world/like a more rounded character.
It's adorable that you think I haven't, and embarassing that you think it would change my opinion of one bad voice acting job. Do better.
