Not working since Morbius update

Hi everyone.. since the update on morbius dlc my midnight suns is not working anymore. It opens through the launcher of 2k and when i press play it just loads and goes back to the launcher with the play button. anyone experiencing the same? thank you.. still cant play since morbius update already tried various things shown at youtube but to no avail. please help

I'm having the same issue. Already sent a ticket to 2k Support and just playing the waiting game.

This is all they sent me.

"First of all, as you’re on Steam, ensure that game launch options are empty. You can find a guide on how to check game launch options located here. Next, follow the steps below to delete the 2K Launcher data and reinstall the most recent version:

Ensure Steam/Epic and the 2K Launcher aren't running
You might need to use the Task Manager to ensure the 2K Launcher is completely closed
Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.

Click “More Details” if it's displayed in the bottom left of the Task Manager window
Check both the “Apps” and “Background Processes” sections of the Task Manager for any entries containing “2K Launcher”. If any are present, select it and then select “End Task”
Click on the Start Menu icon and type in “%AppData%\T2GP Launcher” (without quotation marks) and delete the contents of the folder

Click on the Start Menu icon and type in “%LocalAppData%\T2GP Launcher” (without quotation marks) and delete the contents of the folder
Re-open Steam/Epic and relaunch the desired game

Once the 2K Launcher is opened, open the Launcher Settings Menu, and select Check For Update

Once the latest update is finished downloading, select Restart & Apply Update

- I did all of these steps and it still doesn't work. I sent them videos of the error, namely one with the 2k launcher bypass command on Steam and the other without the command. The result is still the same. I just sent them the latter so we'll be waiting again.

Have you tried the opposite? Change the game launch options to circumvent the 2K launcher and run the game directly?

Yes I have. I've had the launcher bypass command up since the day I bought the game. This really only happened after the Morbin' patch

I'm not able to load any existing game. I've tried pre-Morbius saves, post-Morbius saves as well.
The only thing I am able to do, is starting new game - but cannot load it as well.
This game got completely ruined for me and I'm starting to regret the money for Legendary Edition I've given away :(

Loading stops in about 70 % ... and nothing happens, need to close game manually (after serveral minutes).

Have launch options empty...
Any advices?

EDIT: looks like it works when I disable DirectX 12 by adding -d3d11 param to launch options. Now using:

"D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Marvel's Midnight Suns\MidnightSuns\Binaries\Win64\MidnightSuns-Win64-Shipping.exe" -d3d11 %command%

Wow! Seriously?! Their first step for troubleshooting was to try to force you to use their launcher? 2K is such a joke!

It's worth asking, because I was crashing at the loading screen myself, but have you verified file integrity through Steam? I tried that and it helped. But it still crashed 2 out of 3 times launching.

Are you using mods? I had one in particular that was causing some of my issues.

what confuses me is the launcher was the culprit of launch issues, why would using the launcher be the fix?

this is just sad... paid for everything and suddenly updates make this game unplayable.. 1st of when we pay for something we should get the product without issues and now they make us do workarounds for their crappy game... very disappointed.. thanks for the reply man

I had the same issue, 2k support was no help, although they did try and in a timely fashion as well to their credit. What eventually worked for me was uninstalling, then reinstalling on a separate hard drive. I had previously tried a fresh install but in the same location, and that didnt work for me

I moved the game from the HDD to SSD, does that not count as the same process?
