How do I unlock this outift? the internet says open the chests in the basement of Lilith's Garden which I have done, didn't get it.

Same exact thing happened to me with the chest in the basement. I'm enjoying the game, but the armor bug is very frustrating after putting in all the work to get it.

I knew this of this issue and hoped I didn't encounter it. And to be safe, I consciously skipped going down until I uncovered the rest of the abbey mysteries.

No luck. The right chest was empty. It didn't give me anything.

If you don’t want to wait for a patch, there’s a mod on NexusMods that will add the armor as a general mission reward (and then you can uninstall the mod). I haven’t tried it myself yet, but likely will if a patch isn’t release shortly.

The mod is named “Faster Arcane Chest Respawn” and has an optional download to fix the Ancestral Armor issue.

ITS BUGGED ON SOME GAMES. thats the fact i saved and reloaded the game about a dozen times to try and get it to unlock out of the chest and it just didnt and its pretty crucial because its passive ability is game changing for your hero deck. SO THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME AS OF 7-6-2023

This Adds the Ancestral Armour as a mission reward if the chest is open and you dont have it unlocked. i just copied the file to the PAK folder in the midnight suns directory and that was that. Its completely free and super easy and it worked after i wasted so much time messing around with it and im now on my second NG+ and this is the only thing that worked for me. i hope it works for you and if so then YOUR WELCOME
