Not here for jokes. Just want to know if people share the same mindset as me with this.
Combat. There is the entire list and even that is debatable from person to person.
Honestly, while I can see that connection, I feel bringing Thor would have been more "pandering the MCU crowd" than "fitting with the game". Plus, his connection to the Elder Gods is more meager compared to Carnage making a direct deal with Chthon or Scarlet Witch having been possessed by Chthon multiple times.
Venom on the other hand is just... y'know, angry and conflicted about things, and extremely hungry with poor impulse control. There's a reason when Carnage shows up, Venom gets on Spidey's side, after all
Bringing in someone as irredeemably, unquestionably insane and malicious as Carnage would require a lotta finagling to justify him being able to even hold a conversation worth having with the Hunter, building even a simple relationship, etc.
I say all this as a BIG symbiote appreciator who wishes Carnage was in more games. I'd... be OKAY with Carnage in this game just because I love them, but, I don't really think Midnight Suns is a good fit for them. Not like all the other DLC characters coming, they're all infinitely more justifiable
UNLESS OF COURSE YOU MEANT CARNAGE AS AN ENEMY, in which case absolutely, I would LOVE that. Not... anywhere near as much to type about that so I apologize if that was all typed in misunderstanding, but yeah, I totally agree on Carnage as a real tough boss showing up somewhere, that'd be fun af
Yes, I meant as an enemy. Guy's a murderous psychopath. Guy would be happy to get a power boost if it means causing more havoc and bloodshed. There's no WAY the Midnight Suns could get him to side with them, but he'd be fine if a witch lady were to be all "Here, I make you even harder to stop, now paint the town red!"
