however, I capped the framrate trough NVC to 75 which is enough for me and my cpu/gpu isn't going all out for a turn-based game.
my ingame settings are :
video :
1440p native
framerate limit: unlimited (the ingame limiter caused stutter for me in combination with adaptive sync so I use NCP for that)
upscale method (dlss/fsr/ect) : OFF
VSync - off (set to on in NCP)
graphics:
Ultra preset (remember to double check if the game turned on DLSS again after selecting the preset and disable it again)
so my GPU is a little bit faster than yours but there should be no problem to maintain stable 75+ FPS all the time and uncapped of course more until the throttle kicks in.
something else must be causing it but not the game.
The fact that so many systems are struggling to run a game that really don't look better than what a PS3 can run is baffling. Hell, there's people with computers comparable to a PS3 can run this game perfectly. Like, is this game's system so weak that most top-tier computers can run it without f**king itself up?
I tried what you said. Most of the settings were the same as mine. I tried turning off DLSS and got a slight boost but I still can't get over 60 in this game. Idk what else could be causing it other than the game because I can play Returnal and Dead Space remake at max settings and still have over 70+ fps. I have a hard time believing that this game is more demanding than those two.
I had no issues with the game around launch and was crusing with max settings and fps as high as 110-120 but then since their updates its just gotten worst. Like I though updates were meant to help and not ruin it.
Bro, that's a fine example why the performance issues of this game are on the game and not the computer, as if you can run the Dead Space remake perfectly fine, this game shouldn't be struggling at all to run at a decent rate.
Yea idk it seems like they just slap the dlc or update in without testing to see how itll affect the game in its state. Idk I just want to play the game I spent nearly $100 on without it having the framerate of a X360 or PS3. If I wanted to play at those framerates I wouldve bought it on my PS5 or Xbox
