I had 44GB before. And now, after few hours i am at 15GB again. Hope this doesnt happen again because i have to quit it in the evening and continue downloading the next day.
It's not a 52GB patch. It's a 938MB patch that has to slowly patch the game's 52-56GB files
Just a random thought - are you really tight for storage space? Although there was an issue at launch for some people which was a Steam thing where it was taking an age for some people's game to install and the advice from devs was just to let it do its thing without turning the computer off.
I dont care if its a 1GB patch or a 15GB patch. Fact is , i have to download 52 GB. Which costs me so much time that i can't do it in one day. And as soon i pause the download and try to continue, the download starts at 0 again.
I set steam already to high priority, cleaned cache, started steam and my computer new but it is still the same problem. And my storage is not tight, i have 200 GB free space on my computer.
Again. You do not download 52GB. It PATCHES the 52 GB files. However, it takes forever because steam has to patch and re copy every file. It's really a silly way to do it IMO. It'd actually be MUCH faster to redownload the files.
Now if something goes wrong, then it will redownload the entire 52GB files
It doesnt matter if it patches or download the 52GB. I have to download 52GB otherwise i can not update and play the game.
So you tell me that i never will be able to update this game.
I mean, how dumb can developers be? 2K isn't an indy developer???
I had to deinstall the whole game. After i reinstall and pause the download, it doesnt go back to zero. It continue's the download from there where it was.
Thank you 2K for that but at least i can install the game in two session's.
