My partner and I spent the entire first Deadpool mission saying, "is this Marty from Big Mouth? (Richard Kind) Why does this sound like Andrew Glouberman's father is about to tell him to stop touching himself?" It's very unsettling when you can't shake that image as the potential face behind the mask.

You are correct. It sounds exactly like him.

Sure, Nolan North is great. Whoever directed his performance for this, however, made a weird choice and wasted the sack full of money they gave North.

In additional to playing Deadpool in the Deadpool game, Nolan North also played him in a bunch of other games (including MvC3 as others pointed out, Marvel Heroes, Future Revolution, Lego Marvel, and even a digital pinball table), and the cartoon movie Hulk Vs. He's about as iconically linked to the character as you can possibly find outside of the live-action movies.

Also, Richard Kind is great. He played a superhero on Stargate Atlantis one time, he could probably pull off Deadpool if someone very patiently explained who the ♥♥♥♥ he is.
