...you really think so? Granted I only completed one playthrough, but I found as I got closer to the end I had far more of all resources (credits, essences, and especially gloss) than I had any need for. And getting more was pretty trivial. Hard to imagine folks paying cash for that.
I can see buying new skins or something, cosmetics, for those who want them. But straight up buying resources, it's hard for me to see a scenario where a player would feel they had to do that...
Cheat Engine has a thread to block/remove their anti cheat stuff FYI. You have to kill a thread running inside of the EXE file itself. It's a "feature" that devs who use Denuvo can activate. https://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22179&start=30
The directions are crytic. So I added some more step by step at the end of the forum thread.
I do NOT advocate doing this to steal currency for MTs.That's dishonest, and you shouldn't do it, and it might actually be illegal to do so.... BUT it's a SPG, and you can cheat at combat, game, stats, etc all you like.
No, it hasn't. Since day 1, I've use CE and cheaphappens (not to buy MTs though as the version I got comes with everything you can use MTs for), but for certain combat things. Even WeMod worked from Day 1
because i was using a cheat from WeMod and now they dont work .since i already played once and don't feel like doing all the insane grind all over.

You probably didn't bother to mod your cards much to optimise your decks which you need to do for higher difficulties or just to cheese the easier ones. It absolutely chews through credits and resources unless you have the luck of a god. I wouldn't be shocked to find out that the game was built with mt's in mind before later being taken out. It's not like it's first time it's ever happened to a game. Deck builders are prime targets for predatory monetization.
No dev console, mod-unfriendly, NG+ where nearly everything is lost. I definitely got my money's worth from the game, but nearly everything post-launch is starting to make me a bit disgusted toward the developer.
If it was a multiplayer game then yes, by all means stop people from cheating but it isnt and I bought the game and the Season Pass, there is nothing to monetize me for anymore and if this is the way they want to approach me as a customer then I'm seriously considering no longer paying for their games but finding alternative ways to play.
