Game not starting in offline mode
I can start it when steam is online but if i go offline after the launcher when i press play the game doesn't start.
Any workaround would be much appreciated.

When single player games require you to be online.... The state of AAA gaming is just garbage. Don't worry they still have their state of the art launcher.... /s

The game no longer works offline in the Steam client. Nothing happens after starting the game.

I thought it was a problem with 2K launcher v1.8.0 but Civilization 6 and Xcom 2 work offline. So the problem is in the game Marvel's Midnight Suns after latest patch.
