deadpool not appearing

Deadpool doesn't appear on any of the screen where you select a hero in the 1st play through, he works fine on those menus in new game +

you need to complete spiderman in act 1 i believe i read, in new game + you can select any hero without prequisites

No, that's not what they're saying. There is an extremely common bug going around for PC specifically where many people simply can't choose Deadpool even after unlocking him. He doesn't show up in your roster and can't be selected for missions. This has been reported so many times today Firaxis was in here earlier asking people to send in their save files.

Does deadpool missing bug means he never appear in mission list at all? Or he appeared but then disappeared after you completed all of his story missions?

He is in the abbey but does not show up on the heroes screen. You cannot choose him or add him to your squad, you cannot upgrade his abilities or trade with him. Anything that involves choosing a hero from the grid of their head icons, he isn't there.

Yep, same here. Cannot choose or customize him, but he's in the abbey

same here.... sucks the DLC is buggy on first day launch... it needs correction patches... or isit just deadpool screwing around with the game lol

After DLC campaign mission deadpool is not appearing in abbey, there is one twist - I need to talk with him, without it I can't go to sleep and progress game. Other words deadpool just made my game stuck (: Hope for quick fix (I tried loading last save from combat, but same result)

As someone who found this thread through google posts like yours are both unhelpful and annoying.

I don't have the DLC but I saw someone else post in another thread that if you do a general mission, then do the story mission again, it fixes him. hopefully that helps

I've done two of his story missions and a general mission, and still no luck. He doesn't show up as a selectable or customizable hero.

Just tried this, no luck.

Playing with season pass installed and on saves after main campaign complete. Not far enough along in ng+ to test there yet.

i found a work around hope it helps everyone and realize why it doesnt affect some pc players... play the game in offline mode on steam and your deadpool will be back to normal if you already unlock him... if you are not particular about the save files not able to sync with steam clould... once you do this you cant play the game in steam online mode anymore or until they realize whats wrong and patch...
