Does verifying your files lead to anything?
File verification is unlikely to be the culprit, but other than time nothing to lose so will set that up later today.
If it works fine in your game, I'll try crafting anew once I get more blueprints - just annoying to be out the hard-earned essence.
Really odd bug too.
And chances of screenshot have disappeared together with the card - however, as soon as I took the concealed on redraw modifier off, it went back to 3 cards.
So working theory - the combination of this card with the conceal on redraw mod causes something to bug out.
If anyone is motivated to farm a million legendary blueprints to find out if this can be reproduced, by all means be my guest.
Either way, since that isn't exactly the mod I want not the worst thing, but if someone finds this on Google later - replacing the modifier should fix the card.
Seems like the devs went with the "every modded card is an entirely new card that has mechanics coded separately" approach.
I mean, I don't play Spider all that often but "Draw 1, Play 3" where card plays are limited is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing and if that's low on your metric, you prooooobably don't play a lot of card games.
Well that's not really all then, is it?
But in all truth, I mostly am just responding to you now so you can come back with an essay on how you modded all your cards to be quick, spending hours on that as if it somehow proves that draw 1, play 3 isn't good, when the words you're looking for are 'not great if you've gone full asperger on mod redraws on ALL combinations of heroes you play.'
It isn't even difficult to mod cards effectively, but yes my Spiderman deck is Quick/Free essentially. I am almost certain I can mod Free onto Infernal Spider to make it somewhat worthwhile simply as an exhaust option over say Opportunist, but I'd rather have +2 moves in general.
I may play Infernal Spider if I thought Spiderman could be useful as a damage dealer, but that is really not how I see him nor think he is worthwhile at U3/40 missions.
Simply put, I understand action economy in games. Moreover, if say Reinforcements or Summon Charlie had the Infernal Spider mechanic they would actually be worthwhile to play.
Legendaries are mostly fine, but won't fit in all decks. Infernal Spider's brilliant for me and I imagine for anyone who *hasn't* gone ham on pursuing nothing but quick and free. If anything, it made me swap back in a common upgraded draw skill.
My main team is Nico and Cap with double empowers and few heroics in play, leading to her back to back legendary pretty much melting anything on the highest difficulty.
Conversely, Captain America's legendary sits at home unloved, but I *do* see how I could build around it.
But /thread. I'm still annoyed at losing three legendary blueprints on a bug and even more annoyed now that I understand I could have just taken the mod off and *not* built a fresh card.
Odd bug, but that's why it's Spider-Man?
I found out that it is a very specific mod that ruins the Infernal Spider from 3 to 1 free card plays, and that is "on redraw gain concealed".
Damn shame, since it would be such an awesome option for Spidey to have. Very strange too - I have done quite a bit of card modding, and this is the only time I've seen a mod do this to the ability itself (not counting reduced heroism gain if card becomes free to play).
I'd say this is a bug, it doesn't really make sense to nerf it that way. All other mods on the card seem to work just fine.
