"Best" is subjective. Personally I'd much rather see more characters from the spooky side of the Marvel universe like Damion Hellstrom, etc. who were in the original Midnight Suns stories. They are a much better fit. Otherwise it risks becoming just another Avengers or X-Men game. There is already enough dialog in game subtly criticizing the undue influence of the Avengers on the whole undertaking.

I want Gambit too, because his powers have gameplay potential. I could see him supercharging explosives, creating explosives (right now Hunter is the only character who can do that) and exploding enemies. He might overlap a bit with Scarlet Witch, but I can't think of too many heroes with powers that would be distinct from who we have now.
