Now I know what to do, use dark ability only and only use light dialogue when I really dislike other options. Or do the opposite if I want to go light. The faster I reach high corresponding alignment, the faster I'll collect the rewards.
I got Annihilation and Annihilation+ just from regular gameplay (exploring abbey grounds, opening chests, doing the challenges etc) during my Light playthrough. So I'm pretty sure you don't have to follow a certain path to unlock all the cards, but the Collars on the other hand.
Personally I use the after 5 Light Abilities the next one is free. So 60 dark or 60 Light is all you need for the better Collars of each one.
There's different cosmetic armors to unlock as well.
If you're an Achieve Hunter though I think there's acheives for getting 200 in each which is easiest to do with New Game+.
It's also interesting that some characters will prefer dark dialogue choice and you will loose friendship with them if you choose too many light dialogue lines.
The relationship with each character is what makes this game even more interesting for me.
Collars count towards this limit and if you use a Dark card then a light card, they basically zero each other out (+1 dark, + 1 light = +0 towards end of battle alignment bonus)
