DX12 is crashing me when I load my save in the abbey (i guess next to the forge?). HOWEVER on my ROG ally it does not crash with the same save file which leaves me to believe the crash is primarily an NVIDIA issue with dx 12 and some sort of loading problem in general as my Ally also gets extremely poor performance upon loading in that area.
Running DX11 is one way to avoid this issue in my experience.
I also just tried running out of the area, and saving in the woods. Game launched as you would expect it to! I tried running back into the abbey and through the common room and the forge, I inspected it to along with other things and no crash at all strangely enough!
TLDR: Im not sure why this is but turning DX12 on and saving right at the common room infront the forge (for me atleast) does not let me boot without crashing, so if I plan to save I will do it outside from now on
Also i clean install win 11 every couple of months if something is acting janky.
