Crossbones final mission is BULLDOODY
So you have to beat him twice before the bomb explodes, but if you kill just the merc with the card to delay the detonation then the next reinforcement wave doesn't have a delay card. So you are somehow supposed to beat him twice and take down every single merc at the same time... WHAT

i dont see what the problem is... got past him just fine. think i was on only heroic 3 at the time.

you can take down all the mercs and do some damage to crossbones. then when you got 3-4 turns on the bombs you spend a round to just rush him down. repeat for the 2nd time as well.

If you got a proper deck you also got sufficient knockback/move enemy kind of cards. Which allows you to position mercs near edges of the bridge. the bridge is already quite narrow as is. meaning you only need to damage mercs for half their life and at a 60% or higher chance drop them of the edge. saves time and energy that can be used on crossbones himself. Also knockback/shoving enemies into crossbones to take down his shield is a good one to use. same as with shocktroopers.

its really not that difficult of a fight.

Maybe I have the wrong heroes because it#s literally impossible here.

well you must use Capt America and the Hunter. I've done it with light hunter+Nico the first time around. Nico had some vulnerable on curse cards that helped a lot.

And Blade on my 2nd time around. with dark hunter+Blade it was a walk in the park. Mind control crossbones or a merc to attack each other. bleed damage on the a target and then apply big damage to take out big chunks of hp.

You do need to have upgraded cards on the characters. if you havent played and upgraded them enough then its on you. I can't help you there other then to say go back to grind out side missions with them.

The bobmb delay cards can be upgraded with redraw. So you can basically delay bomb for 5 turns with one card.

really? i had no idea you could upgrade using redraw. must've overlooked that part. will keep that in mind for a future third playthrough when all dlc's are out.... seriously i played through the entire campaign twice and i didn't even notice :O

Nice. Although, one time I did it without even using a delay card. Had all 3 characters using silly amounts of card draw, Iron man inflicting vulnerability without the shield going up, then slapping him for massive damage.
First down was with an inspired strenghtened overpowered patience ('cos what else would I be saving those items for?).
Second down was with an 8-shot surgical strike followed up by a team up the turn after.
this mission jesus it just ends and whatever. most annoying in the game so far

Lot of cards have "Redraw to..." effects. Iron Man's whole deck is built around it, and Charlie's Maul card.

As for the boss, you have to defeat them all multiple times. Crossbone's is no exception.

Thats a bug. Each reinforcement wave is supposed to have an elite trooper with a delay card.

Redraw the delaycard. U will get for every redraw 1 turn+ it wasn´t a problem. U need only 3 cards to have 9 Rounds. This mission is very easy. :)

I have also failed this mission several times. Even with different third characters.
It even went so far that I farmed countless other missions to get stronger characters and still failed.
But I also overlooked the fact that you get more turns by redrawing the map to delay the expansion.
That was the gamechanger for me and I have just completed this mission.
