Enjoying it so far, but . . .
You know, I think my main gripes with the game so far are that if you don't get (or notice) a notification about a club meeting and then reply anytime after that morning, it seems like that club just STOPS completely. I have no idea if that was intentional, but since it's supposed to be like DMs, it's just kinda weird that they stop replying entirely and not just reschedule or whatever.

Also, I wish that if you had interrogation or red key cards or whatever at the end of combat, it was assumed you'd *do those things* now that the fight's over. Heck, even if you wanna say that it's about budgeting your moves and it's a staple of the whole turn-based genre and all, then I'd like the option to *keep going* and lose gloss (for allowing another wave of reinforcements and fighting another round) to be able to get those things, y'know.

But otherwise, it's a good time. Definitely enjoying it all so far.

club meeting are connected to story. if u didnt get any club meeting for a long time u should progress story missions

about second agree. but if enemy had a red card it usually showing above the enemy.

the interrogation is pure random. and i also dont like lose loot, but dunno why they do that and dont collect automatically

They also require all the people in the club to be "free" at once (i.e. not doing a hero op, being in healing therapy, etc). So sometimes it just takes a while before everyone's free.
I'll keep waiting - I'm taking my time with the story, so it could definitely be that, but I haven't had a EMO KIDS meeting in over 30 in-game days, so it kinda seems like they're done, despite the text saying there's another meeting. I 'unno.

Actually, there is one other thing I sorta dislike a bit . . . it's not a big thing, because it wasn't at all a factor in me deciding to play the game but . . . the comic book covers? They're like pure, uncut, freebased butt. It's just like "screenshot of character on random colorful background, with text and comic book frippery all around". Like, you couldn't create backgrounds? Or even make it look like something other than copy-pasting a screenshot on a color wheel? Like, this is a pretty well-made game, you could've at least gone through the effort of making them look like they're on paper, you know? Like, printed? That would've been cool. As it is it's just like, "meh."

Understand, though, that I'm just talking about like, minor quibbles with something I'm clearly enjoying since I've played for like 40 hours so far.

Yeah there can be significant time between meetings, especially with EMO KIDS, as it requires certain things to transpire. I don't think they should ask you for ingredients before they're ready to actually do the next meeting imo.
Just wanted to add that you only get so many of those group meetings per chapter. If you're not seeing any for a while, move the story along to the next chapter.

In my game the EMO KIDS had a lot of meetings early, and then there was a really long gap before the last 1 or 2 meetings. I think you are just in the long gap and are just waiting for the story to unlock the final ones.

Ignore 'in-game' time, ignore tracking 'since X days' because that's got nothing to do with the way time works.
You could do side missions for an entire year and worry that EMO kids or Shop Class don't progress because the game doesn't tell you anything about how they're intrinsically linked to story missions only.
They're missing text that should read 'EMO KIDS CANNOT PROGRESS UNTIL THIS SPECIFIC STORY MISSION HAS BEEN COMPLETED' which would be useful.

See once you figure it out, the comic book cover editing is really fun. You can place the graphics around and build your own cover, move the characters, arrange the action and poses, put a filter on it, etc. As a life long comic book fan, this has taken up far more time than I'd care to admit. It's not super intuitive. You can use the mouse to move around different elements (when they're selected). You can add a "paper" effect. And when you transfer them into a painting and place them up on the abbey walls, they look like they're an oil painting.

I just beat the game and never saw most shop class or book club. Both of them had a meeting that got preempted by the surprise story bits and never came up again.
Guess I'll catch them during my next play through when the dlc comes out.

I missed some book club and shop class on my first playthrough, in spite of replying to them at the time. However, in the post-game I noticed that the superlink messages allowed for a reply to continue them. I'm not sure if I missed that playing initially or whether they reactivate post-game.
So FYI, proceeding into act 2 did bump both of them forward, though there's only been one EMO KIDS meeting since and a couple Shop Class meetings (plus the book club, but I wasn't even at that point when I made this thread). Still seems weirdly counterintuitive for the system to actually mark the number of days at any given point, but not actually use that as part of determining progression. I mean, I get why not, but just saying, in that case maybe don't show me the number like something's moving forward, y'know? Whatever, minor quibble, mostly fine.
