How long is the game?
Title. How many hours did you get out of it?

31.6 hours. Just got Spider-Man. I know that probably isn't a spoiler, seeing as how early you see this character, but... lol. I'm expecting to see at least 100 hours, but I'm old.

About 40h to get most achievements, all cards and finish the game. The story is somewhere between 10 and 15h. Rest is just grind, repeating general missions, running back and forth collecting trash and holding esc-key to minimize same animations over and over and over again. Unless something changes for new game+ I don't see myself ever starting over again despite buying the legendary edition. The insane levels of grind overall, repetitive gameplay and the whole abbey side really need to get looked at. With any luck some modder will have fixed most of the glaring problems with the game by the time DLC comes out, but for now just can't see myself get back to the game:steambored:

I've got over 70h in it so far. Can't complain about the value.

Think I finished my first run at 70-odd hours. You can charge straight through the story missions, but you'll likely want to run the side missions so you have enough loot to upgrade cards and do the Abbey (base) dailies and not skip cutscenes and convos at least the first time through.

About 125 hours on first play through, about 90 hours on second. Another 10 or so doing stuff with/for 2k tech support. There's probably just enough room there for a third run with the DLC.

It's really as long or as short as you want to make it. Lot of people get caught frontloading a lot of content very early on rather than moving the story on because the game doesn't force you to move it forward. It's a big game with infinite combat if you want it and a huge social side if it interests you.

I finished in about 70 hours not skipping and dialogues or cutscenes and completely exploring the Abby.

unlikely to happen soon, if ever. xcom 2 has a lot of mods thanks to the workshop compatibility. afaik, devs dont like the idea of people making mods for this one, so i dont think this game will have the mods to reduce event animations, or options to control the camera, etc.

I've heard 60, but you spend less than half of that actually in combat playing the "tactical" portion of the game. It gets better after you finish the abbey exploration stuff, but you're still running around between your bed and different stations to dial in your decks because they were too daft to put all the deck swapping/modding/upgrading stuff in one menu. It's fun, but for me when I finally go back to finish the last few missions I'll have had my fill of the game. Probably won't even come back to play the DLC characters.

Depends on what you enjoy, for me the game hit all the strokes i wanted, and currently at 220hrs, combat just doesnt get boring for me

I beat the game in 80 hours, but I did like 3 side missions to every story mission. I suspect the game could be beaten in about 60 hours if you explored everything but didn't go overboard with side missions.

Isn't it kinda endless. meaning you can do random missions forever?

110 Hours it took me to finish it.

All heroes maxed out in friendship, All skills upgraded and lots re-rolled, crafted many combat items, petted my dog every day, did hangouts every time i could, did all the club meetings (that was there at least, it bugged out for me at some point), Did many side missions, activated every speech bubble i could find and listened to what the heroes had to say, and i had maximum light balance.

And now I'm on new game+ and just chilling with some different missions until new heroes release.

its like Elden ring, its eith 40hrs if you rush 70+ if you do all the side stuff.

I'm just short of 60 hours and beginning to wonder if I'll bother playing any more. Gets my award for the Most Boring Game of the year. If I can be bothered finishing it I won't be doing a 2nd run. Unlike XCom 2 which I'm still playing regularly after all these years.

finished around 115 hours for my first playthrough in which i did everything. i didn't really do a lot of side missions. only did firendship/legendary card grind near the end. so my light [;aythrough is set up to do endless missions and get better mods on the cards etc.

Now i'm 20 hours into my 2nd playthrough on dark save. just entered 2nd chapter. got everything around the abbey done, got most steps of the emo-kids and chop shop done. this time i'm skipping cutscenes and dialogues. running straight to everything efficiently on the map around the abbey. and it still takes quite some time. still 20 hours to reach lvl 17-18 isn't too bad...it sure beats the 45-50 hours it took me the first time around.

135+ hours in right now and i don't feel satiated in regards to deck compositions and combat. i did lose interest in the excessive dialogues/friendship system early on though.
