Not able to switch to DirectX 11?
I try and change from 12 to 11 and restart the game and it's still on 12. Game runs like crap on 12. Running a 3080 so not sure what else is the issue.

Same issues as you. I'm running a 6700xt.

First time playing tonight. I'm not even going to bother hitting new game when I can't even go above 10fps on the main menu.

Not my computer, I get 144fps with Overwatch 2.

Steam deck can't do direct X 12, and now it's completely unlaunchable.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Experiencing the same! @Zevkk answer is a good workaround, thanks!

This. I originally thought was a save issue and deleted 20 minutes of time.

Same here.

Same problem here. Before the patch despite the 3080 impossible to play in RTX with DX12 but in DX11 at the max no problem. On the other hand since the patch the game forces the DX12 and my game runs at 10fps... Impossible to return to DX11.

raytracing is broke, turn that off
I run it maxed on a 2070 at 1440p and have zero issues.

Put it after, is what I read. Also make sure you use -d3d11 and not 12.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marvel's Midnight Suns\MidnightSuns\Binaries\Win64\MidnightSuns-Win64-Shipping.exe' %command%
this is what used to work for me until the patch this morning. Now im lost. Sorry about my questions. im a cpu noob. So youre saying put it after the % command?
