i already destroyed the guards shield
then i tried using hellride on the guard and still attack the truck but i was only able to dmg the guard not the truck.
And in fact it saved me one time when I was low on damage and still had to destroy the hydra truck. So yes, it should damage it. Maybe a matter of accurate aim, as it might miss the truck with the wrong angle?
There's a combat item that discards the entire hand other than the next card you play, use it then hellride and I suppose you can with enough heroism use it twice for good damage. But aside from a sick animation, it's absolute garbage unless you want to promote stronger cycling of cards over turns. If draw card for EVERY KO could roll on it as a mod instead of a 1 draw limit, it would be viable into endgame but it is anti synergy with his better cards.
If we get a dlc character that adds a "when discarded" mechanic then it would have use. But I honestly can't see any reason not to get rid of hellride at the soonest possible chance. Pennance stare is better anyways if you want sick dmg and awesome animations.
Its either a bug for you are your doing it wrong. Hell Ride damages trucks, Hellicopters ect.
It cancelled on me-- consumed the card and moves Ghostrider to where he's supposed to be but there's no animation or even damage applied. Though it only happened twice during my 30 hours of gameplay, so it very rarely happens.
idk if this is what OP experienced tho.
enemy(did not had block) --- truck (was not protected)
coud not hit the truck the indicator dmg line was also very short compared to how long it should be and stopped before the truck maybe because i tried to hit it more sideways? idk visualy i should have been able to hit it do.
