New friendship bug. Lost all levels

So I’ve been playing, I maxed out my friendship with Spider-Man, completed his trial and got his card, but now, after I went to sleep, my friendship level with him has reset to level one, and I only have the benefits of a level one friendship with him… I don’t understand what is going on and if I go back to my old saves, we’re clearly maxed out on our friendship level… Anyone else have this issue? I also went back to an old save prior and again after going to sleep my friendship level has reverted to one… My choices are never sleep again in the game or have my friendship go back to one.

It’s infuriating because of all the amount of time and conversation and gifts you have to give to get that level up.

Do you mean that it reset to 1....or that you leveled it up to "6" and therefore it went up to 1 to give the char better stats?

Edit: can he still wear his Midnight Suns costume?

It reset to 1. And after completing a mission together I got it back up to 2. He can wear his outfit and has his card still, is that normal? That friendship maxed out resets over again?

That's not a bug. Once you max out friendship, it Prestiges and goes back to 1 but with a gold circle around it. You can keep leveling up his friendship for passive bonuses but you're still at max friendship.

Yeah, what the others said, once you hit 5 and cap out again you get your first prestige level, but the game should give you a tutorial on this. It basically gives them +10 to a random stat at each level up after that. These stats do carry over into NG+ as well.

oh wowwwww. okay thanks guys. i missed that pop up. I was so confused. I really appreciate this. I couldn't figure out what I did wrong!
