Do I have to include Doctor Strange in every fight...
So far the cap of the fight is strictly limited on how many card play resource(3) per turn I can play, and Strange is only hero has the card that increasing card play.

what is other alternative team setup no depend on 3 card play per turn ?

no. you can change. some missions will require certain heros.
And the cap is 3 cards unless you use Dr Stranges ability to get an extra card play to 4.

Quick cards that KO have their cost refunded. It's strategy and positioning.

Many heros have a 3 card ability like increasing heroism, going binary, drawing cards and what not.

Stacking strengthened on quick cards... rapid cycling via cards like "all-out" again with strengthened. Marked and don't forget the upgrade to that makes your first mission card in an encounter "free". all takes the edge off the lack of "dr spooky" you could use nico but... lol... it's nico... lolrandom is bleh. Before her stans show up, i know when extremely min-maxed she's baller I mean her core concept is undesirable to me.

I agree though, there should be better support cards on other heroes.

Also that answer is slightly incomplete - you can get sparring and other bonuses that give you opening 4 card play bonuses. Then use marked of course. Early game Strange is the strongest way to get 4 card plays but as you get more cards you'll have a lot more options. Card plays are also not the only way to think of resources, heroism and moves can be just as important

technicly it doesnt give you an extra cardplay, but just allows you to shift a card play from current turn to the next one
the main benefit is getting attack cards back
but if you have enough card draw through other means (eg captain america or card mods) it's not that big a deal

No, it is definitely not necessary.

I have about 30 hours played and I rarely use Strange. Early on, this ability is super strong, but later you get other great combinations. 'Free' cards that don't cost a card play, 'Quick' cards, 'Draw on KO' cards, 'Marked' abilities, use 'Move' to knockback enemies, use Heroism on environment... There are many possibilities that can overcome the 3 card per turn limit.
For example Iron Man is great in this, because of the ability to apply 'Marked' on all enemies in a relatively large area (I don't remember the ability name now).

Now, about once per mission I play all my cards from hand and still have a card play available. I am always playing on the highest unlocked difficulty, played something over 20 missions so far, and most of them are 3-stars.

Dr Strange is my lowest level hero.

I do not mind at all. I will try to remember next time I play. (It's currently 9 AM and I am at work :D)

Hi, sorry to be late, but of course, I completely forgot I promised the setup.

This is probably not too relevant anymore, because my setup is completely different now, but I remembered you yesterday when I had a great encounter, in which I played 14 cards during the first 2 turns. I reloaded it and recorded it so you see some of the later options.

If you want, watch here :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-_C5k7LgEc

This mission doesn't really have me run out of cards though, because with this team, there is a huge amount of card generation.

You DO realize that you're literally spending a card to play an extra card next turn, don't you?

But you also get guaranteed two attacks you get to play. Also 4 cards per turn have bigger potential for some skill setups.

All heroes have "quick" cards that do not use a card play, also there are many ways to add the Marked debuff which refunds a card play when that unit is KO, basically as if the card used had Quick even when it does not.
TheoreticalString 13 DIC 2022 a las 1:37 p. m.
Use quick cards and Marked to allow you to chain together multiple card plays.

The Strange card is a bit of a trap. It costs you a card play now to get one later, which basically guarantees more damage this turn because that card play could have been killing/stunning/weakening things.

Quick and Marked are much more effective ways to get tons of card plays.

Yes. You have to include Doctor Strange in every fight....
Walter Denny La Croix 13 DIC 2022 a las 9:47 p. m.
There are so many ways to damage the enemies without exhausting a card. In one mission I had spiderman take out 10 enemies and I only used 1 card. This involved getting the card that reduced environmental attacks by 1, which made most of them free. I also used several environmental bombs and then used a chain attack, which was the one card I played.

I love the variations of teaming up three different heros. While some work better with others, its still fun to see how you can do with all of the various combinations.

I use quick and marked a lot to get my card play back.
tbloxham 13 DIC 2022 a las 11:43 p. m.
Strange's buff is pretty much overwhelmingly strong compared to any other buff, and other than Nico's 'Heroics for free' is pretty much the only one worth using.

Quick with knockback
Quick with knockback
Stranges ability -> 1 more play next turn, redraws the last 2 abilities with extra damage
Quick with knockback
Quick with knockback

3-8 ko's easy, for 1 card play, which you get back next turn. Strange even HAS quick with knockback abilities for you to combo with.
