Its written somewher or its a tale that we are spreading around for some reason? Is there an EULA or something about it? What are the devs saying?
Because that's what its written on the steam page of the game:
Denuvo Anti-tamper, 5 machine activation limit
This doesn't bode well, at all, with what you're saying.
As I said, the chances of you doing enough to your system at one time to use up all 5 of your activations in 24 hours is pretty small.
And i don't want even talk about the fact that what I do with my system is my and only mine concern.
Whenever there is a 24h limit, its well specified on the steam page. Here is not, that's why I'm asking for an official stance about this
Look, I've told you the policy of Denuvo's activations, if you don't want to believe it, fine..
I mean, how hard is it to type into Google a search? Let's find out....
www.google.com/search?q=What+is+Denuvo+5+machine+activation+limit
Imagine being this far up your own bum. "Everything I assume is true unless you can hand guide me to proof, and I'll whine about it instead of using Google."
This Train guy is dead wrong, and VERY stubborn about it. Lol city.
In the amount of time it took you to start this thread you could've simply googled it, but instead you decided to post it anyways and then decided that because you didn't like the answer someone gave you you decided to call it misinformation and stomp your feet about it.
Now you can move on, thank you
If you're interested, not even the EULA of the game states anything about the anti tamper that's being used. But I guess that's not a problem for you, so whatever
Do you think you'd get a Denuvo representative to come here and give you an official response? or what kind of official confirmation can we give you that a google search would give you differently?
I mean since you don't seem to believe the people responding....
I mean, a dev could respond. Someone working for the publisher itself, the same guy that opened this steam page, EULA of the game (Even that doesn't talk about the anti tamper used), whatever. There are million of official way we could get an answer about this.
I don't think I'm asking for anything out of this world tbh, what's wrong with having more information about a subject like this? For you, or for anyone else, it could be nothing, I value things differently I guess. Again, what's the problem with this?
They bought the game bro. And you're probably one of the few that actually asked about this before buying. Comically and ironically Callisto Protocol, with the same goofy setup, is worse even after their most recent patch.
All this shows is how crap and desperate 2k has become - first it was their useless and system hog of a launcher added to even years old games, now it's this goofy drm crap. Considering the lackluster reviews for this game - even most "positive" reviews mention how poorly it's optimized and the dialog is cringe - they just might rethink adding all this overhead in future games.
