Strange menu highlight issue

Hello there, (sorry for my English it is not my native language)

I don't know why but whenever my mouse highlight any element of any menu, there is a lot of square that flash around it as long as my mouse is on the tile,

I finally managed to add the screenshot !

Seeing as I cannot see the screenshot I am assuming it is something akin to a 'glitch' around whatever you have selected. I had those issues until I updated video card drivers.

Unfortunately I cannot see the screenshot, but if it has that strange artifacting that appears on highlighted options that I also sometimes get-and from your description it seems to be the case- then yes, I have it too.

Hello my card is already up to date so I don't think it's coming from here, btw the screenshot should be visible now

Then it's either graphical corruption or GPU overheating. If exiting back to the main menu fixes it, then it's probably just a temporary thing, but if it comes back, there's a chance that your GPU might be overheating.

Other than that, the game can be a bit odd when it comes to visual effects, so turning them down in the options might help.

nah, don't scare this user, plenty had this bug, including me on stream.

it's a simple visual bug Firaxis style releasing games like that on day 1. quitting to desktop fixes this.

Who is scaring someone? They asked a question, I gave my educated guesses based upon the information given to me.

Glitches like this are generally chalked up to either out-of-date drivers, thermal issues, or any number of PC-specific conflict issue. I had the same issues and was fixed with a driver update, and since they said they are up-to-date I went further with possible reasoning.
