Fun game but clearly inspired by popular jrpgs/rpgs with life sims.
While the core concept of the game is great, it feels as though trying to copy something like Fire emblem 3 houses or Persona 5 kinda miss the mark a bit.

The plotline of the world ending and having a ragtag group of people with unique backgrounds and perspectives isn't fully realized with giant portions of the game is low stakes slice of life dating sim mechanics. I'm surprised they didn't also attend school for classes. (The writing itself being good is debatable with many people leaning towards bad)

The explore the area is kinda alright but since it's an afterthought of just running around randomly smashing E to pickup a billion random things, with very minor puzzle elements. It's not like exploring super "fun" either.

I felt as though trying something more like dragon age/mass effect/divine divinity original sin/etc style of character growth and bonding would work better in the context of an more mature story.

But so far I haven't seen any actually moral decisions or debates/hard choices you have to make with your team. There's "light side" which is being nice to people and "dark side" which is being a bit of an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but tough.

Overall it's a good game at it's core kinda bundled together with a ton of mediocre decisions that should have elevate the game further.
