how do you unlock color schemes for costumes?

I have seen videos where and images where hunters costume has different color schemes. I cannot find it anywhere in customization and im stuck with the basic Black-white you are given at the beginning. Do i have to unlock somehow the color schemes and if yes how do you unlock the full black one?

Hmm I got some both for the hunter and for heroes from socializing. There might have been other sources as well, I'm not always 100% paying attentions because there are so many rewards all over the place. I could imagine the random rewards for training exercise could have given colors as well.

Some are in the chests around the Abbey (if you haven't started getting keys yet just keep playing and the story will give you your first one) and some are gotten from doing hangouts and raising your friendship is magic points.

I don't know about a black one but the brown leathers one is in the chest right outside your room.

Isn't it random which item is in which chest?

yeah chest give you random ones...
damn so you dont get them automaticaly you have to unlock them :/

It looks like random from the chest or socializing which I don't think is random so maybe you can get lucky and the color you wanted is linked to one of the socialize options.
