As for it in a single player game, one in particular you are paying full price or more for right out the gate, yeah I have some issues with that myself. In a genuine free to play title I can forgive it's existence, but in a full priced title it's a lot more difficult for me to be alright with that. Again, this one might not be as bad as some in past games have been, but it still feels similar to how they were just trying to squeeze extra cash out of people with the last marvel game.
Blame the gamers. They're the ones buying all the stuff in it.
Clearly?
Yup never played Ubisoft,
I own
The Division 1
The Division 2
Wildlands
Breakpoint
Siege
They do all have cash shops. Oh and all are multi player too. Tell me again, this is a multiplayer gamer by Ubisoft? I honestly had no idea.
Yeah I completely understand making money off skins.
Warzone, Pubg, nearly every multiplayer game today has skins for sale, and I 100% rather see that over pay 2 win any day. I personally would never drop a penny on pixels, after buying the game, but in multi player games, its better than pay 2 win. In single player, its a bit odd?
I jut didnt know it now also is in single player games. I live on a 40 acre farm, so I often look for games I can play offline.
Is this playable off line or does the skin shop make it single player online only?
Thanks
Bethesda's Oblivion had cosmetic purchases (Horse Armor) in 2006.
We don't have to like the trend but we should stop pretending like it is something new that is somehow shocking to us.
My main question is can this be played offline? I know hen most games have a cash shop its online only. That is my biggest and really only question, I should have said that to begin with
They also made Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Assassin's Creed which are single player with no online multiplayer (Origins and onward)
Please read what I asked. I asked why it was in a single player game. And more importantly can this be played off line or does the cash shop make it online only?
yes and I enjoy Origins and I can enjoy that offline.
Again, which is why I want to know, can this be played off line or is internet required?
Why am I asking?
I live on a 40 acre farm and the winter can be hell with high winds and causing no internet. So I tend to look for offline playable games for when no service hits.
We can’t say for sure whether or not Marvel Midnight Suns is online or offline, though we can heavily speculate it will have offline functionality. Since we know what developer Firaxis is known for, that being the tactical game juggernaut XCOM, it’s likely that you’ll be able to play Marvel Midnight Suns offline no problem.
But I want to confirm it before investing in it.
